In 2019 was awarded 'Fashion Journalist of The Year' at the British Bangladesh Fashion & Lifestyle Awards.

Momtaz's professional roles have included Editorial Director (Asiana Wedding Magazine), Launch Editor (Ethnic Restaurant Magazine), Editor (Popular Crafts Magazine), Deputy Content Editor (Barclays), and Features Writer (BBC Magazines). As a Copywriter Momtaz has produced website content for clients in the medical, finance, fashion, beauty, and design industries, written reports, leaflets and brochures, and created copy for adverts. Experienced in managing teams and budgets she has worked on major projects such as new launches and rebranding.

*Momtaz was commissioned by the Creative & Cultural Skills council to write a blog charting her creative life which ran from 2006-2009.

*She then wrote a personal lifestyle blog, Cos I Like Making Stuff from 2009-2019.

*This changed to the travel and creative blog Craft and Travel from 2019-present.
